Thank you to all who attended, participated, and made this year’s annual Symposium for the Enhancement of Horses and Riders possible. It was a great success by measure of excellent education from all the speakers, friendly and safe learning environment, and good food from the Creswell Bakery. All of the feedback we received was positive particularly the lovely venue hosted by Laura Park at Silvertail Farm in Creswell. We look forward to another wonderful Symposium next year at Silvertail Farm. Look for the Symposium to be earlier in the year (end of April or early May).
On another note, it was wonderful to see Chris Camp DVM and Janek Vluggen D.O., MRO, EDO work side by side for two days prior to the Symposium. Chris reported that he learned a lot and was impressed by Janek’s extensive knowledge of anatomy and skill in working with the horses.
Janek was also duly impressed with Chris’ knowledge of anatomy and skill in assessing injury with ultrasound and x-ray. Janek was also impressed with Chris’s adeptness in finding and releasing internal restrictions that Janek found while completing his osteopathic evaluation. Both these men have agreed to treat some more horses together next year, we are very blessed to have these collaborative minds working together for the good of the horse. Thank you Janek and Chris for all your passion and dedication to the horses.
